The PLACEengage team, based in the heart of Connemara, are always looking for new ways to get involved in local activities and exploring new ways to embrace rural living. Today, we are exciting to introduce our latest initiative, the #StartHere social media campaign.
This campaign is designed to promote and encourage local placemaking efforts and support local businesses, operating under the inspiring mantra: ‘If you want to change the world, #StartHere’
What is #StartHere?
The #StartHere campaign aims to empower individuals to take an active role in enhancing their local communities. By focusing on grassroots efforts, the campaign encourages residents to engage in placemaking activities that reflect the unique character and needs of their area. This includes supporting local businesses, participating in community events, and contributing to the development of public spaces.
